Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actor. She also sings. Her mother raised her within the USA she was subject to a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being a bit unpopular. If she attended an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing, in ninth grade she began to grow more confident. Not only did she gain confidence because of the experience and gained experience, but also changed her plans for her career. In the year 22 she was able to graduate from in the Julliard School of New York. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. Her biggest breakthrough was when she starred in the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway performance of Spamalot winning not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. Later in the same year she appeared on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider acceptance for the role. A well-known performer, she also has released songs and plays. In addition, she is a LGBT activist.
