Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years she was named the top female box office starter in the world. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
