Annie Mist Thorisdottir has been an elite CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the sole woman in the history of sports to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she finished second. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media star as well as a CrossFit participant - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The first female to be awarded The CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012. She also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 twice. She also won Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017, and 2013. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school sports and won several medals. In 2009 she began participating in the CrossFit games at California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She stands at 5'7" tall and weighs about 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. Annie was able to do very well in the initial contests. She placed in the Top 10 among over 70. Although she didn't win any title she ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen. Annie was 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the same silver medal year. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her impressive accomplishment earned her the title. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and then in 2021 was the last time she took home a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is now a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie, who is currently a competitive athlete, was featured in adverts to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance sidekick Periodization Transparent Labs Transparent Labs and many more. In addition to this she runs a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel vlogs are uploaded.
