Luciana was raised in Rome by her parents - Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian military officer. Her mother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's mistresses. There's no record of her siblings. She was in a local high school. Upon graduation in 1955, she enrolled in marine engineering in the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the only female in her class. After two years she started modeling but that all changed when she was offered her first acting role when she was visitng her father's friend in Rome she had a very small two-line part in Three Coins in the Fountain and that's where it all started. Brett Halsey is an actress who became her husband for the first time. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960, after having married. Luciana received custody after the couple split a few years later. Charles had been born. Luciana was an actress as well as producer, was with Tony Athony from 1962 until the year 1970. Tony Athony had been inspired by Luciana's performance on Green Slime.
